PREP FOOTBALL POLL : Mission Viejo Keeps Top Spot

Mission Viejo picked up where it left off last season, earning six of seven first-place votes to become the top-ranked team in the first Orange County Sportswriters’ Assn. 1991 prep football poll. Mission Viejo finished as the county’s No. 1-ranked team in 1990.
Esperanza, which has won 15 consecutive games over the past two years, earned the other first-place vote and is second in the poll.
