Is This the Same ‘Gov. Moonbeam?’
Re “Moonbeam and His Family” (Sept. 15): Robert Jones’ essay on our former governor, Jerry (Moonbeam) Brown, is certainly timely and cogent. The remaining haunting questions on Gov. Moonbeam are: Is he the same person who made such a mess of our once proud education system? Is he the same one who left us a massive traffic jam as his administration’s legacy by refusing to build a single mile of freeway in the face of a population explosion in our state? Is he really serious about running for the presidency? The sad thing is that I voted for him once. However, this time around I will gladly vote for a proposition to tell him that the marble he has long lost is not to be found in the White House.
