Mike Hill finished bogey-bogey but managed a 71 to win the inaugural $700,000 Nationwide Championship at Alpharetta, Ga., by one stroke over Tom Shaw.
Hill, who earned $105,000 with the victory, has $678,288 for the year, moving ahead of Chi Chi Rodriguez for the top spot on the money list.
It was Hill’s fourth victory of the year.
