High School Title Game for Dollars, Not Sense

I read with great interest that the CIF Southern Section general council has approved a football game matching its Division I champion against the top-ranked team from the City Section.
While the decision may be lucrative for the CIF’s coffers, it is bad education and gross exploitation of high school students.
