Royal 34, Santa Ynez 27--Ryan Fien passed for 224 yards, completing 19 of 24 passes, to lead Royal over stubborn Santa Ynez at Moorpark College. Fien threw touchdown passes of 43 yards to David Brown and 33 yards to Steve Feil.
Santa Ynez used three long kickoff returns and one long punt return to set up four touchdowns.
