Pollution Research Takes Over Rest of Sales Firm

Pollution Research & Control Corp., a Glendale company that makes pollution measurement devices, said it has exercised its option to acquire the 55% of Pacific Region Commerce Corp. that it doesn’t already own. Pacific Region Commerce is an Austin, Tex., company that was organized by Pollution Research in October, 1990, to sell its products abroad.
No payment was required, Pollution Research said, because Pacific Region failed to achieve the sales level specified in the option agreement.
