Police Find 11 Grenades in Car

CYPRESS — A 39-year-old man was arrested after officers found 11 hand grenades in his car during a traffic violation stop Tuesday, police said.
Robert Everett Young of Los Angeles was arrested on suspicion of transporting explosive devices and was jailed, Lt. John Schaefer said.
Schaefer said officers pulled Young over on Knott Avenue north of Ball Road at 1:35 p.m. for a traffic violation.
Young was being held on $25,000 bail, Schaefer said.
