* The Crystal Angel Gala and Holiday Boat Auction held at Le Meridien Hotel in Newport Beach on Oct. 3 raised an estimated $20,000 for the United Cerebral Palsy Assn. of Orange County. Barbra Marches and David Rahn were co-chairmen.
* The Newport Beach Concours D’Elegance antique and classic car exhibition at UC Irvine on Oct. 6 raised an estimated $80,000 for the Assessment and Treatment Services Center. Susan Bartlett was chairwoman.
* An Evening at the Improv comedy benefit held at the Improvisation in Irvine on Oct. 7 raised an estimated $12,500 for the AIDS Response Program and Stop AIDS Orange County. Jerry Holderman was chairman.
