Bradbury : City’s Finances Excellent

The city continues to be in excellent financial health, although revenues declined slightly, according to its accounting firm, McGladney & Pullin.

The annual audit, covering the fiscal year that ended June 30, 1991, was given to the City Council on Tuesdayby the firm’s representative, Christie Kubicek.

Revenues were reported as $456,176, down about $4,000 from the previous year. Expenses climbed by about $50,000 to $383,236. The year’s surplus of $72,940 raised the general fund balance to $1,008,775.

The city, with many large homes and ranch-like properties, remained a popular filming location for motion pictures, television programs and commercials. Revenue from filming permits and other license fees, although down somewhat from 1990, brought in $45,750.
