Group Reduces Its Stake in House of Fabrics Inc.

A group led by FMR Corp., the Boston parent of the Fidelity mutual-fund organization, has cut its stake in House of Fabrics Inc. to 8.7%, or 1.2 million common shares.
In a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, the group said it sold 191,576 shares of the Sherman Oaks-based fabric retailer between Sept. 13 and Oct. 16. The stock was sold at prices from $30.93 to $36.36 a share, the filing stated.
