Dole Buys Land for New Headquarteres: Dole Food Co., the food production and real estate development firm formerly known as Castle & Cooke Inc., has purchased from Unisys Corp. property in Westlake Village, where Dole will build its corporate headquarters. In September, Dole and its subsidiary, Dole Fresh Fruit Co., temporarily relocated their headquarters to two leased office buildings in Westlake Village from Westwood. About 170 people work at the Westlake Village headquarters.
