IN BRIEF : Hollywood Helps Elects New Officers

Hollywood Helps, the consortium of entertainment labor unions designed to assist people with AIDS, has elected Ron Miller as its new president.
Miller is director of contract administration at the Writers Guild West. Former president Mark Alan Farber, executive director of the Los Angeles AFTRA local, resigned because of time limitations and will serve as vice president.
The Hollywood Helps board also elected Clinta Dayton of the Screen Actors Guild as secretary and De Anne Spicer of the American Guild of Variety Artists as treasurer.
Hollywood Helps provides financial assistance to people in the entertainment industry who have HIV-related diseases. For information or to make donations, call (213) 656-4305.
