El Camino Real 24, Taft 0--Quarterback Evan Howland rushed for three touchdowns as El Camino Real (3-6, 1-5) dominated from the outset, piling up 208 rushing yards and holding the Toreadors to just 79 yards.
Howland had scoring runs of 15, one and five yards to cap three long drives. He also completed eight of 13 passes for 97 yards. Richard Gill carried the ball six times for 57 yards, Andy Hasson rushed 12 times for 54 yards and Victor Sykes had 35 yards in nine carries for El Camino Real.
The Toreadors (0-7-1, 0-5-1) were led by Mario Alvarado, who rushed for 30 yards in six carries.
