A 27-year-old motorcyclist remained in serious condition after being broadsided by a vehicle that had run a red light at a La Jolla intersection, authorities said.
Timothy Sinclair was traveling west on Genesee Avenue about 4:10 p.m. Saturday when he was struck by a car that made a left turn in front of him as it ran a red light at North Torrey Pines Road, authorities said.
Sinclair was taken to Scripps Memorial Hospital where he was listed in serious condition late Sunday, suffering from head and internal injuries.
Police did not say whether the second motorist was charged in the accident.
