In other volleyball matches:
Moorpark d. Victor Valley, 15-0, 15-7, 15-6--Moorpark (18-0) breezed in the 2-A second-round match at Victor Valley behind a match-high 13 kills by Kristie Evans.
Jessica Donalson and Nicole Funfar added nine kills each for Moorpark, the Tri-Valley League champion and third-ranked team in the division. Sisters Tara and Amy Thomas each had 13 assists. Christie Main had 10 service blocks and two aces.
Canyon d. Fullerton, 15-4, 15-11, 15-4--Juli Mosier had 10 kills and Gina Sanchez had eight for fourth-ranked Canyon (16-0) in a 3-A second-round match at Fullerton. Melysa Wilcox served the final seven points--three of them aces--for Canyon, the Golden League champion.
GIRLS’ TENNIS
Harvard-Westlake 12, Thousand Oaks 6--Sophomore Lindsay Wasserman, playing No. 1 singles, won her three matches to lead Westlake (15-3) into the quarterfinal round of the Southern Section 3-A Division playoffs. Wasserman is 59-1.
Quartz Hill 9, Centennial 9--Quartz Hill (17-2) won the 1-A match on the basis of games won, 79 to 75. Junior Philippa Gray won her four singles matches to lead the Rebels.
