The United States rallied for a 7-15, 15-11, 15-5, 11-15, 15-12 victory over Peru in the World Cup at Osaka, Japan, gaining the only remaining volleyball berth for the 1992 Olympics. The Americans join 1988 champion Soviet Union, Spain, China, Japan, The Netherlands, Cuba and Brazil in the Olympic field.
