Shapiro New Executive VP at New Line Distribution

Al Shapiro has been named executive vice president and general sales manager of New Line Distribution Inc., the distribution arm of New Line Cinema, an independent production company. He previously served as senior vice president and general sales manager of the division.

Los Angeles-based New Line is the leading independent producer and distributor of movies to theaters. Its recent films include “Freddy’s Dead: The Final Nightmare,” “My Own Private Idaho” and “House Party 2.”
