OUTLOOK

The return of four starters from last season’s team, which tied Liberty Christian for the Academy League co-championship (5-1)--including two-time league MVP guard Walker (20.0 points per game)--is cause for optimism. Rardin thinks returning talent and leadership can lead C-Hawks to another league title. Rardin also has solid players returning in guard Eberhard, another first team all-league performer. Guard Jordahl and center Geiger were second-team all-league selections last season. Although concerned by lack of size underneath (Geiger is the tallest player at 5-9), Rardin hopes she has enough balance and strength on both ends of the court to battle Liberty Christian for the championship.
