OUTLOOK
The Warriors didn’t have a varsity team last season but did have a junior team that finished 2-16, 2-10 in league. Lack of varsity-level experience and outside shooting will be major problems. Steinker and Sneed are strong inside players with scoring and rebounding ability. Warriors also could get help underneath from Hunt. Alicia McKenzie’s passing skills should be able to get the ball into the front-line players. Brown, Young and Butler return from a one-year layoff after playing varsity ball two years ago; they will lend invaluable experience necessary for a competitive season. Brethren Christian will need every bit of its team speed, quickness and team unity to stay with the likes of Valley Christian and Whittier Christian to stay in the Olympic League race.
