Players From Valley, Moorpark Honored

Terrance Brown of Valley College and Curtis Marsh of Moorpark have been named Western State Conference tri-offensive players of the week, and Ty Wilcox of Moorpark has been honored as a co-defensive player of the week.
Brown, a sophomore from Texas, gained 204 yards in 20 carries and scored four touchdowns for Valley in a 40-28 loss to Santa Monica.
Marsh, a sophomore, had five receptions for 250 yards and four touchdowns in Moorpark’s 63-3 win over Ventura.
Santa Monica quarterback Dion Bergeron rounded out the triumvirate.
Wilcox, a sophomore linebacker from Simi Valley High, had 10 tackles--including three unassisted.
He also broke up four passes, intercepted a pass and forced a fumble.
Victor Miles, a defensive lineman at L. A. Southwest, also was honored as a co-defensive player of the week.
