Probation was revoked for one of three men convicted of beating San Diego Charger lineman Joe Phillips so badly that he was forced to miss much of last season.
Brett James Dost, 22, was ordered to jail and his bail was revoked after he admitted testing positive for drug and alcohol use. Dost, Scott Edward Stewart, 25, and David James Hanna, 23, had pleaded guilty to assault charges in the Sept. 26 attack.
Phillips, 27, suffered severe head and facial injuries in the attack outside a restaurant.
Dost was sentenced to a work furlough program and ordered not to drink alcohol or take drugs.
A probation and sentencing hearing was set for Jan. 13.
