ON THE TRAIL OF THE MIAS

The cover piece on POW-MIAs (“On the Trail of the MIAs,” by Edward Tivnan, Oct. 27) was a powerful and courageous article. If there is something for which the Reagan-Bush administrations richly deserve to be denounced it is their despicable neglect of this issue.
As your article should remind all of us, this story is not finished yet. Only enormous popular and media pressure will force policy-makers to resolve the POW-MIA question.
