Bush’s Counsel

It was quite revealing to discover that among the coterie of the presidential counsel Gray’s collaborators was none other than attorney Janet Rehnquist, daughter of Chief Justice William Rehnquist. This arrangement should be viewed with a jaundiced eye of apprehension and dismay, while pondering with great scrutiny, of one who is both a member of the executive branch advisory group, also having a filial relationship and a possibly inadvertent conduit to the chief justice of the judicial branch of government.
Interlocking directorates are an outmoded and outlawed practice belonging to the archaic freebooting days of corporate connivance. At least eliminate nepotism from the “corridors of power”!
