First the Country, Now the Dacha?

MOSCOW — Soviet President Mikhail S. Gorbachev could lose his summer house as a result of the Ukraine’s independence vote, a newspaper said Wednesday.
Komsomolskaya Pravda quoted Ukrainian President Leonid M. Kravchuk as saying his government will own all property on its territory--including the Crimean dacha where Gorbachev and his family were held during the August coup.
But he added: “We could also consider the possibility of selling it, but for standard world prices.”
