KCOP’s Happy New Year: KCOP Channel 13 will serve up 20 hours of star-studded, uninterrupted movies to welcome the new year on Jan. 1. The films, starting at midnight with “Midnight Cowboy” and running throughout New Year’s Day, will include “The Elephant Man,” “Murder on the Orient Express,” “Hud” and “Teacher’s Pet.” The nine-movie marathon will be commercial free. The other films are “Kiss of the Spider Woman,” “The Green Berets,” “The Great Race” and “The Adventurers.”
