California IN BRIEF : SACRAMENTO : Ex-Hostage’s Cousin Injured in Car Crash

Rusty Ruth, cousin of freed hostage Terry A. Anderson and head of a West Coast support group for hostages’ families, was injured when the car she was riding in collided with another car on Interstate 80. Ruth, 61, suffered broken ribs and other internal injuries, authorities said.
