Apples of My Eye: Actress-director Jodie Foster won the Hollywood Women’s Press Club Golden Apple Award at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday, an honor given to celebrities who contribute most to enhancing Hollywood’s image. The Golden Apple for male stars was shared by actors Kevin Costner and Robin Williams. Alec Baldwin, Kim Basinger and singer Sinead O’Connor shared the Sour Apple, given to those who do not help Hollywood’s image. Sophia Loren received the group’s top honor, the Louella O. Parsons Award.
