Fluor Awarded $33 Million In Contracts: Fluor Corp. announced that it has been awarded two contracts worth at least $33 million over the next five years. The company said its FD Services unit won a one-year contract, which may be extended for four years, to perform Army housing maintenance in Fort Bragg, N.C., a job estimated at $33 million over the five years. Also Tuesday, the corporation’s Fluor Daniel construction subsidiary said it had acquired an equity interest in a Venezuelan engineering company, Tecnoconsult Ingenieros Consultores S.A. of Caracas. The cost of the deal was not disclosed. In addition, Fluor’s board announced an increase in the quarterly cash dividend, from 8 cents to 10 cents per share on common stock.
