BIG TIME: Orange County will be everywhere in the Southern Section division championship football playoffs: 11 teams in the 10 games. That’s the county’s best showing since regional playoffs began in 1977; it never had more than seven teams. The two biggest matches: Santa Ana’s Mater Dei vs. Rialto’s Eisenhower Friday at Anaheim Stadium, and Anaheim’s Esperanza vs. Los Alamitos Saturday at Cerritos College. Eisenhower is ranked No. 1 nationwide by USA Today; Esperanza has won 27 straight.
