Teachers May End Strike

ROCHESTER, Minn. — Striking teachers were expected to return to their classrooms today after tentative agreement was reached Tuesday on a new contract, school officials said. The district’s 850 teachers went on strike Dec. 4 in a dispute over economic and contract language issues.
