VENTURA : Man Faces Charge of Robbing Bank

A 34-year-old man appeared before a federal magistrate Friday to face a charge of robbing a Wells Fargo Bank, authorities said.
Gilbert Soto Jr., who authorities said has residences in Oxnard and Ventura, was arrested by police in Oxnard on Wednesday. The arrest was made after he was identified as a suspect in the Dec. 4 robbery of Wells Fargo Bank at 101 Chestnut St. in Ventura, said FBI Agent Gary Auer, of the Ventura office.
