MISSION COLLEGE : Exhibit to Feature Mexican Artists

The works of 11 Mexican artists will be featured at an exhibit of paintings and prints beginning this month at the county of Los Angeles Century Gallery in Sylmar.
Mission College coordinates exhibits at the gallery in Veterans Memorial Park, 13000 Sayre St.
The latest exhibit will begin with a reception for the artists from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday. A 30-minute film in which the artists discuss their techniques and the cultural influences on their work will be shown.
The exhibit also can be viewed from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday until the exhibit closes Jan. 17. Admission to the gallery is free.
Artists featured will be Mario de Campo, Vicente Rojo, Gabriel Macotella, Juan Soriano, Roger Von Gunthen, Gabriel Ramirez, Arnoldo Coen, Enrique Estrada, Vicente Gandia, Alberto Gironella and Arturo Rivera. The exhibit’s theme is “Mexico: The Mystic Past and Future Masters.”
