Left-hander Jimmy Key of the Toronto Blue Jays broke his right ankle during an accident outside his home in Tarpon Springs, Fla., and will be in a cast for the next four weeks, the team said.
The Blue Jays said that Key was on a 12-foot ladder changing a security light bulb when the ladder started to give way. He was injured when he jumped off into a grassy area.
