Gorbachev Exit Letter Reported

LONDON — Soviet President Mikhail S. Gorbachev has signed a resignation decree but has not inserted the date, Moscow radio said Thursday.
“The date has not been inserted in the document,” the radio said, quoting the Nezavisimaya Gazeta newspaper.
“It is expected that it will be filled in either on the day the Alma Ata meeting is held, on 21st December, or on Monday,” the radio, monitored by the British Broadcasting Corp., said.
