Gov. Ben Nelson said that he will sign a bill extending the deadline of a controversial intercollegiate sports law that Nebraska officials say would end NCAA-sanctioned sports in the state.
All intercollegiate sports at the state’s NCAA-sanctioned colleges will be dead in August if a new state law isn’t rescinded or modified, a University of Nebraska official said.
