The Grove Shakespeare Festival has received a $25,000 gift from an anonymous donor, bringing unearned income for 1991 to $195,000. According to its most recent figures, the Grove earned $370,158 in subscription and single-ticket sales for its season of six plays attended by 25,306 people--not including the non-subscription offering of “A Child’s Christmas in Wales,” which ends its run Dec. 29. Grove spokeswoman Dede Ginter said the theater could not provide comparative attendance figures for the previous year but believed attendance was up.
