Party Time: It was a little after the fact, but tenor Placido Domingo and his wife Marta took about 300 members of the Los Angeles Music Center Opera--the “Carmen” cast and crew and MCO administrative staff--to dinner Saturday night at the downtown restaurant Stepps to celebrate his 2,300th opera performance. The tenor, who has been observing every 100th opera performance with celebratory dinners, reached his most recent milestone Dec. 20 in Dublin.
