Litton Dropped From Lawsuit: U.S. District Judge Manuel L. Real dismissed Litton Industries Inc. as a defendant in a suit brought by a former Litton employee who had alleged that the defense contractor ignored her warnings about a co-worker’s wrongdoing. The co-worker later pleaded guilty to embezzlement. The suit, which sought $21 million in damages, was filed last February by Mary Ann Rohan, who formerly worked in Litton’s Guidance and Control Systems Division in Woodland Hills. Rohan’s lawyer, Louis Cohen, said he will appeal Real’s decision.
