Transamerica Unit Promotes 2

Bolin R. Higgs and Robert T. Kai have been appointed executive vice presidents of Transamerica Premier Insurance Co., a subsidiary in Orange of Transamerica Insurance Co. Both had been senior vice presidents since 1989.
Higgs oversees the company’s financial institutions business. Kai’s responsibilities include specialized personal insurance programs offered through managing general agents.
