Producers Guild Names Nominees

Nominations for the third annual Producers Guild of America awards were announced on Tuesday and the winners are to be named on March 4. Nominated for the Darryl F. Zanuck Theatrical Motion Picture Award are the producers of “At Play in the Fields of the Lord,” “Boyz N the Hood,” “The Commitments,” “JFK,” “The Prince of Tides” and “The Silence of the Lambs.”

Nominees for the Norman Felton Television Producer of the Year Award are the producers of “Absolute Strangers,” “Brooklyn Bridge,” “Dream On,” “The Josephine Baker Story,” “L.A. Law,” “Murphy Brown,” “Never Forget,” “Northern Exposure,” “Separate but Equal” and “Star Trek--the Next Generation.”
