MESS WITH SUCCESS? Anaheim’s Carl N. Karcher has made a fortune off his Carl’s Jr. hamburgers, but some people think they have a better idea. The 150 residents at the Morningside of Fullerton seniors housing complex expect to frequent a new Carl’s Jr. that is opening soon nearby. So they are petitioning Karcher to change the name of the new outlet at Brea Boulevard and Bastanchury Road to Carl’s Sr. . . . Karcher officials are uncommitted, but Karcher himself will pick up the petition today and say hello to everyone.
