Pasadena : DWP Seeks Energy Savers

The Department of Water and Power is seeking 250 participants for its Residential Central Air Conditioner Load Control Program, which is aimed at reducing peak demand in the summer.
Units in the program will have a control device to enable the department, when necessary, to turn off the air conditioners for one to six hours on weekdays. Average savings for participants is estimated at $48 for the summer.
