Condoms at High Schools

In response to “Distribution of Condoms OKd in L.A. Schools” (front page, Jan. 22):
I see that the spineless Los Angeles School Board has now decided to distribute condoms in senior high schools. The unsound logic of “the kids are going to have sex anyway” has won out.
Following the same line of reasoning, why doesn’t the school board introduce a beer distribution program to be regulated on the school campuses. Hey, “the kids are going to drink anyway!”
