JERUSALEM — Palestinian sources said Wednesday that Israeli troops shot and killed a 12-year-old boy and wounded two other Palestinians during a clash at a refugee camp near Nablus in the occupied West Bank.
Military officials said an army patrol clashed with masked stone throwers in the camp and arrested two people.
The officials said that later the army heard reports that a dead 12-year-old and two wounded people, one 11, had been brought to a local hospital from the Ein Beit al-Maa camp.
The army is “checking the connection between the incidents,” they added.
