Russ Jensen, a record-setting quarterback at Cal Lutheran in 1982, was chosen by the New York/New Jersey Knights in the 23rd round of the World League of American Football draft Wednesday.
Jensen, 30, established single-season marks for completions, yardage and touchdowns in his only season with the Kingsmen after transferring from San Francisco State.
On the professional level, Jensen was with the L.A. Express of the U.S. Football League from 1983-85 and was on the injured reserve list with the Raiders in 1985.
