Productivity, Teamwork in U.S.

Re American productivity: As I see it, the major problem with our society is the relative lack of teamwork.
We have pitched workers against management, the government against big businesses, the lawyers against everyone else, and now the female against male co-workers by the way of any perceived sexual harassment charges.
The first reaction one finds in cases of injuries or discovery of any product defects is not how one may prevent similar injuries or improve such products. Instead you will more likely find an 800 number on TV or in a newspaper to contact a lawyer about any perceived injuries you may have suffered.
Japanese rhetoric and our self-congratulations notwithstanding, only when we can produce higher-quality products as a team will we be able to laugh all the way to the bank on our trade-deficit issue.
However, I am skeptical that a government so zealous in breaking up one of the world’s most efficient and profitable businesses will ever come to this realization.
