2 Die in Plane Crash in San Gorgonio Pass

PALM SPRINGS — A small plane crashed Friday in the San Gorgonio Pass, killing at least two people, authorities said.
The plane, believed to be either a Cessna 150 or Cessna 172, went down at 3:25 p.m. near Interstate 10 about seven miles northwest of Palm Springs, according to fire officials and the Federal Aviation Administration. The cause of the crash was not available.
The names of the victims were not released, and officials were trying to determine the plane’s origin and destination.
