GIRLS’ BASKETBALL ROUNDUP : Garden Grove Rushes Past Bolsa Grande

Denise Lutz scored 13 points as Garden Grove defeated Bolsa Grande, 47-32, in a Garden Grove League girls’ basketball game Friday at Bolsa Grande.
Garden Grove improves to 11-8, 9-3 in league. Brandie Tantardini led Bolsa Grande with 12 points and 11 rebounds.
In other league games:
Kennedy 48, La Quinta 39--Freshman forward Erryn Gutjahr scored 13 points and pulled down eight rebounds for Kennedy (14-7, 9-3).
Pacifica 51, Los Amigos 34--Jennifer Surface scored 12 points for Pacifica (7-12, 6-5).
In the Olympic League:
Orange Lutheran 53, Whittier Christian 45 (OT)--Carrie Stephens scored four of her 12 points in overtime to lead Orange Lutheran (14-6, 9-1).
