The Amateur Athletic Foundation named as recipients of the 1991 World Trophy top athletes from six regions of the world: Mike Powell of the United States (North America); Samuel Matets of Zambia (representing Africa); Lin Li of China (Asia); Tamas Darnyi of Hungary (Europe); Kieren Perkins of Australia (Oceania) and Hortencia Marcari of Brazil (South America). An official presentation ceremony will be held March 11 in Los Angeles.
