ALPINE : Man Dies After Truck Flips on I-8

A 49-year-old Alpine man died Monday when his truck rolled over several times after swerving on Interstate 8 just east of Lake Jennings, the California Highway Patrol said.
Thomas Pratt III, who was not wearing a seat belt, was thrown from his truck, which came to rest on the center divider. He died later at Sharp Memorial Hospital, authorities said.
